Q: What is the model of the camaro used in the movie “Transformers”?
I am hoping to buy my first car soon, and I wouldn’t mind finding an old, beatup camaro similar to the one Shai had in the movie. Does anyone know the exact make, model, and year of the vehicle used in the film?

BTW: I am asking about the older one in the movie, not the sleek new one that appeared later on.

Q: How much could I expect a used 2010 Camaro to go for?
I will be looking to purchase the new 2010 camaro, only I will be looking for a used one in the summer months. Does anyone have any idea how much one would go for (V6, automatic?)

A: It will be hard the first to be sold will be to fans that want them so you may see a few used one after 8 months most of the time the first used ones to hit the markets are fleet rentals this car is not going into fleet service. Say 9 months after release you see a few if it has good miles and is not damaged then If it’s original MSRP was $25000 you could get it for $20000. It will take a while till dealer inventory gets heavy before the price will come down to a normal level. Plus GM is saying production will not be wide open like most of the other cars that will keep prices high for a while.

Q: The new alarm I put in my recently purchased used Camaro does not unlock the door !! Anyone have any ideas why
The only time it unlocks using the alarm fob is after I unlock it initially with a key. Only then will it lock and unlock using the alarm fob. After a while, it goes back to not unlocking itself, and I again have to manually unlock it. The car didnt come with a remoteless entry key fob when i bought it. Just two keys, one to lock and unlock doors and one to start car. Of course the alarm i had installed came with it and a kill switch.

Q: Can anybody give me info on the Camaro used in the movie Transformers?

A: Yea, the Transformers movie camaro “bumblebee” was’nt even the prototype camaro.. it was a fiberglass camaro body built on an 06′ Pontiac GTO Chassis. The fuel top didnt move, the air conditioning didnt work and the gauges were just for show. However, the wheels in the back were 22″ and in the front, 21″. Bumblebee was assembled by Saleen. The car had the 2007 corvette z06 7.0 liter, 505hp v8 engine. It has been sold for aproximately 3.4 million dollars to a rich private owner who plans on showcasing the car at this years SEMA event.

Q: Looking for used used Camaro around $10,000 little work to be done if any?
Looking for a used Camero any where from $0 to $15,000, and if there is any work to be done on it i want to keep it under $3,000

A: Hi, Your best bet to find one at a cheap price would be at an auto auction. There are public auto auctions in every state, so you shouldn’t have to go too far to find one near you. I’ll give you a link to a site that has more info about auctions if you want to check it out.

Q: how much does should a used stock air intake for a camaro cost?
the camaro that i bought recently came with a off brand piece of crap cold air intake(it was build realy cheap and wasnt taken care of very well) and i was wondering how much a good used one should cost?

A: You should be able to pick one for $10-$15 from Pull-A-Part or your local junk yard if you can find one. I would sell you my old one but shipping would cost as much as getting one from a junkyard. Autozone also has Specture customizable intake parts where you can make your own cold air intake all for about $50.

Not the new version, when he copied that nice one, but how he looked at the start and just bought x]

A: Roughly 1974-77 Camaro. Basically, mid-late 70s.

If you had Googled “Bumblebee”…..you would have found all the info you could have possibly needed.

A friend of mine wants to get the same type of paint job that they gave the camaro Bumblebee in the transformers movie(2007), but we cant find any kind of paint codes to give to the shop

Q: 1979 used Camaro rally rims?
I currently have four 14×7 rally wheels off of a 1979 Camaro. These rims are referenced as color keyed rally rims that was an option in 1979 They are used but in good condition. What should I ask for them IF I were to sell them? I want to ask a fair market price. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Q: How do Install a used supercharger on my camaro?
I want to get an eaton m90 supercharger off ebay and stick it on my 1985 Z-28. It’s the 5.0 liter v-8 and I’ve got a Holley 650 carb. Is there an install kit or is it just know-how and fabrication?

A: just make sure it for the small block chevy and there should be no fabrication it should be just a bolt on kit

5 speed manual V6 Engine? Like a used one at a salvage yard or somthing?

A: Fifty bucks, maybe less. The market is tight now. Negotiate! I would start at twenty and look like I was leaving at $30.

But that’s going to the junkyard and finding your own part. You’ll have to check out several to find it.
