Q: 2011 Camaro RS or 2006 EVO 9?
i was wondering what you guys would choose in my situation. I got a full ride to college so my parents are offering to buy me a car. i can either get a brand new 2011 camaro rs, makes 312hp or a 2006 Evo 9 with 30k miles with performance cams larger intercooler aluminum intercooler pipes, dyno tune, and a new race fuel pump. which would you choose

A: Dude, i would take the EVO 9.. not the stupid camaro rs… personaly, but i mean.. if you like racing? like cars? like fast cars? like nice cars? take the evo 9.. dude its 1 of a kind car!! the fucking evo 9!!!

Q: 2011 mustang or new camaro?

A: 2011 Mustang GT. They’re putting the 5.0 back in them and they will spank the Camero’s overrated ***.

Q: Does anyone have any info on the release date for the 2011 Chevy Camaro coupe?
And what new upgrades will Gm offer for the2011 Camaro coupe for the Upcoming year?

A: As of now this info has not been released to the dealers.Best of luck.

Q: 2011 Mustang GT Vs Camaro V8’s. Who will win and who will go home crying?
Ok, little skinny for ya. The 2010 Camaro SS has over 400hp compared to the Mustang’s 315. However due to the Mustang being lighter, smaller, and in production forever it is only 1/10th of a second slower to 60. Also most magazines prefer the Mustang over the Camaro for handling and better fit and finish.

However! The 2011 the Mustang GT gets over 400 Horsepower from the new 5.0 liter Ford is working on. So the fast pony is going to be even faster. However the 2011 Camaro may get different gearing to take better advantage of it’s own big motor since some of the magazines I’ve read think the gearing is not in tune with the motor.

Who ya think is going to be the Champ? Mustang is already in the lead, but only by a pinch due to better construction and handling. New motor will equal Camaro in power but the car will be smaller and lighter! But if the Chevy team get it together and get the gearing singing the same song as the motor, it should be a lot faster then it is for 2010.

Finally, the Rivalry has be re-ignited! And for the thousand people that will ask, I loved the 93 Camaro, but since have fallen for the old school live axle power pony Mustang!
Think I wrote “However” Enough times!?!

A: “However”……the Mustang engineers and marketing department will not let this icon pony car suffer any humiliation from any comparatively priced competition.
Look for the Mustang at the finish line.

Q: how long will they sell the new camaro for?
how long with they sell the new camaro for after it comes out? i will be 17 in 2011. Also what colors are they going to sell it in?

A: they wont stop selling it if it keeps on selling

Q: New firebird in 2011 true?
Ever since the new camaro was announced there have been pictures and rumors about a new firebird being made but no one seems to be certain about it. So does anyone know whats really going on with this whole firebird thing because all the time more and more fake pictures are being made that say this is the rumored concept car and blah blah blah. I also know how pontiac keeps telling everyone its not true but the rumors dont seem to die down at all about them. So is pontiac just feeding everyone BS or are they serious that theyre not making one?

A: No there wont be.

GM has never said anything about making a new Firebird when the new Camaro comes out. In fact they have never said anything about giving Pontiac a muscle/pony type car. They would just steal sales from each other.

Q: 2011 convertible camaro?
The 2011 camaro is going to be available in convertible I’m excited and I’m really interested in getting one, my question is do you think the prices are going to be around the same as they are now or because of the new converible feautured will they hike up the price? Thnks

A: Expect to spend around $4k to $5k more for the convertible.

Q: Battle of the Base Model Giants. Mustang V6 vs Camaro V6 vs Challenger V6?
The internet is amass with V8 queries into what muscle car is the best and what is to be the best when the new 2011 Mustang debuts with the new V8 5.0.

My question is what is the best basic model ( Mini Muscle ) car would be? The 2011 Mustang with the new 3.7L V6 good for over 300hp – the 2011 Camaro with the continuing 3.6L 304hp V6 – or the 2011 Challenger with the continuing 3.5L 250hp V6.

Of course, these are the sales leaders and I am curious how many people will respond to the question about the base model of their pulse pounding vehicles.

Magazines say that the Challenger is the old school cruiser, with old school handeling and looks. – The Camaro is a scorcher V6 and fun to drive hard but has so so interior quality – and the 2010 Mustang was the sleeper with the antique 200hp V6, but with the new 300+ hp V6 I believe the Mustang is the new game changer for the V6 Mills.

What you think?
Tannor – You will be very happy to hear that I own a 2004 Ford Mustang Convertible with the V6. Despite what every else was telling me, I put a chrome ” V 6 ” Badge on the flank and am keeping a single pipe on the car. I love Mustangs but can’t afford the insurance on the V8. If you don’t pose like a V8, you don’t get laughed at :)

B.T.W. Not planning on buying one, I was just curious what everybody thought. Glad Mustang is ahead with the first 2 answers going for the pony.

A: If you are looking for one I would recommend the V6 mustang or Camaro. Mustang if you plan on upgrading engine parts in the future, or camaro or mustang stock. I would never take the challenger because it lacks performance to the extreme. You are better off with the V6 mustang overall though because the camaro and challenger are supposed to have big burley V8’s, so if you show up with a V6 you look like a poser. With the mustang it wont matter because the 2011 V6 is putting out numbers close to that of the 2010 V8. Save yourself embarrassment and go with the mustang. Personally I am a camaro guy, but not the V6, dont be a poser. I like the mustang for its V6, hope I helped.

Q: what us muscle car (NEW NOT OLD) should i get for $100,000?
i would love the new camaro but i really cannot wait till 2011, i was thinking about getting the raush mustang or the shelby gt500, or maybe the dodge charger daytona or even a viper

which is the best value for money

A: No, get the Corvette ZR1 coming out this summer. It’ll do 0-60 in 3.0 or less.

Q: Is anyone selling a black 2009 -11 camaro for equal to or less than $22000?
Hi, for my senior year, my dad promised me a car if I did well with my grades in school my junior year. I did well, better than expected. However, during the last year my father also lost his job, but still wants to make good on his promise. We visited our local chevy dealer today to ask about the cost of a new camaro and were told that the price would be over $26000 for just the base LS model. I know that a base camaro is only about 22,000 and I really don’t want to have my dad pay an extra $4000 for my car, so if anyone is selling or knows someone who is selling a 2009-2011 black automatic camaro for 22,000 or less, could you please post your phone number, or address? Thank you

A: Good Choice in the Camaro but just check craigslist or auto trader in your area and you will likely find several two year old ones for under $20,000.

Edit my bad, Pmack is right and I stand corrected. It will need to be a 2010 or newer unless you want a vintage Camaro. Chevy stopped making them several years ago and brought them back in 2010 thankfully.

Q: Will I be able to get the new Camaros or Challengers in 2011?
I figure to have the money in early 2011, a year after I get out of college.

Will they be making a new Challenger that would come out? Will they be making a Challenger or a Camaro every year now?

Or – if I could afford it at the end of 2010, would I be able to get a new Challenger for cheaper at the end of the year?

I’ve never bought a new car before so its all new to me.
Will I be able to get a 2009 model challenger fitted to what I’d want (paint color and interior options) at the end of 2010?

A: The present Dodge Challenger will be replaced in late 2010 as a 2011 model – at least as of now. Who really knows what changes Chrysler will have to make as it runs out of money. The Chevy Camaro comes out in 2009 and will still be in production in 2011 – again, depending on the financial situation of GM.

Q: 2010 camaro price question?
do you think that a year from today that the 2010 camaro will get a price drop, since it will have been out for a year and the dealerships will be trying to get new 2011 cars on the lot? if so, about how much?

A: maybe… a little, not much.
But with the popularity the way it’s been on these cars, i’m guessing … you probably wont see a price drop for 3 years.

Q: 2010 Camaro 2LT/RS price in 2011?
Im thinking mileage around 40,000, as i said it has the RS package, good condition no scratches dents looks new and im thinking Used from a chevy dealer or any other dealer thats selling it which means it will smell like new.
OF COURSE USED, because its 2011 not 2009/2010

A: Depends on the demand. If it stays high it could cost almost as much as a brand new car. If it drops to nothing it could be very cheap.

Q: 2011 mustang 412 hp 5.0L V8?
well you might already know about the new information about the 2011 5.0. It will have 412 hp and 390 lb/ft torque with 6 speed gearbox. How will this compare to the camaro. Ford has already out engineered chevy and dodge. The only question is weight. I think it will at least match the SS.
This is where I got the info

http://www.muscularmustangs.com/2009/news0293_2011_mustang_gt_information.php

A: it will flat out smoke it!! the 315 hp 2010 mustang keeps up with the camaro!! a 412 hp light weight pony will leave the camaro in the dust!!

Q: Need advice on Car choice.(Mustang,Challenger,Camaro)?
So I will be getting a new car soon and I’ve narrowed it down to the three Pony cars, which are the Mustang(2011), Challenger(2010), and the Camaro(2010).
I’ve watched many comparison videos but that still doesn’t do it for me.
I’ve looked at all three and taken a test drive on all three.
But I would like to have some opinions from people who have owned either one of those.
How have these cars treated you?

A: They all suck. poor interior finish and fit, bad mileage, bad handling and way too heavy. Plus, they just look like pregnant versions of the old cars. God, americans really are the dumbest consumers in the world. If you need me. I’ll be the one in the STI blowing your doors off on the straights and the twisty curvy’s, btw.

edit: Right, I dare you to throw that pig around the corners like a subie.
