Q: How to take care of my new black 2010 camaro?
I just a new 2010 camaro about a month ago and I don’t know how to properly get it washed/detailed etc.. should i go get it hand washed or drive though? so far i’ve been going to the HEB touch free thing but it doesn’t really get it shiny and super clean. also, i heard wax is bad for it and that i should get acrylic paint conditioner if so, how do i do that and how often?
A: You can also just hand wash it, and I can’t stress enough how important it is to USE AUTOMOTIVE SOAP… Don’t use dish soap like some dim-wits, it’s really hard on the paint.
After that’s done and it dries give it a coat of wax, I use cleaner wax on my Black Blazer and it comes out looking like new, which says a lot because its met a few tree branches in it’s life.
Try to keep it out of the sun all day too, if you have a Garage, I’d be storing it in there, and don’t park it under trees… tree sap is a pain to take off.
Q: Will the new 2010 Camaro still come out even if GM goes bankrupt?
I want to get the new Camaro, but what happens if GM goes bankrupt? Will it be over for them or will the Chrysler thing happen?
A: The new Camaro is already out…some people have their ordered vehicles already.
…also, GM if filing from bankruptcy protection, not actual bankruptcy….HUGE difference. They’re going to be fine, you’re not at any risk by buying a GM product right now.
Q: Can the new 2010 camaro be faster than a mustang?
I want a faster car then a 2008 roush…. And I like the 2010 camaro what type would be the fastest one?
A: Josh, the Camaro goes 0-60 in 4.6 for only 30K, compared to the GT500’s 42K so maybe you should just STFU.
It depends on the Stage of the Roush. Definitely get the SS, and you can beat most Roushes with that. Do a few mods: intake, exhaust, headers, etc, and you will be unstoppable.
The V6 is really fast, but cannot tackle a car in the Roush’s league.

A: Will they? They already are….GM can’t keep up with the orders that are coming in. Once dealers stop making the damn price up you’ll see even more on the road.
Q: Is there going to be a right hand drive version of the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro?
Camaros and Firebirds used to be manufactured also with right hand drive setups for the Australian market. Will that be the case again?
Will we be seeing the new Camaro down here in New Zealand and Australia?
A: Yes there will be, however the right hand drive version will be converted from a left hand drive version by Queensland vehicle importer Performax International. GM was originally going to produce a right hand version in the states for export to UK, Japan, South Africa and Australia in 2011, however those plans were scratched due to GM’s current financial outlook. I’ve read alot about it and what i can find is it’s just blind spots. What about the body (plastic?) or the engine?
A: The most major flaw I found was the gauges—-oil, gas, engine heat, etc.
They sit on center console, just in front of the shifter. It looks sooooo cool. But it’s incredibly unfriendly to look at. You’ve actually got to look down, and to the right, taking your eyes off the front window and the road. it won’t be something you’re looking at while driving.
It’s extremely uncomfortable to look at any of the gauges.
But as I said, it looks pretty cool. Just not functional at all.

And how much would minimum insurance on one cost?
I would be willing to get a white one if it meant lower insurance costs.

A: The LS starts at $22,995 and the 2LT/RS starts at $28,780. Both are V6, 300 HP. The SS starts at $30,995. With a 6 speed manual transmission it is a V8, 422 HP. With a 6 speed automatic transmission it is a V8, 400 HP. The more HP the higher the insurance as well as the cost of the car. Stick with the LS or 2LT/RS and save money. Get the rates from your insurance for your selected car.

A: yes, i have one and you can’t go anywhere that people don’t stare and compliment you. mine is black on black. i have these upgrades.
high performance exhaust, 21″ upgrade wheels, red racing stripe( this color is not available but the dealer had them made for me) ground effects package, sunroof.. i went to hennesey high performance in sealy texas on friday and set my appointment to take it back aug 24th to have long tube headers, magnusson 23oo supercharger and tune up this will give me 650 hp. we test drove one friday and it is awsome. oh i bought mine off the showroom floor like this.

A: yes and no.. their are two companies working on a V6 supercharger.. but likely the projects aren’t on the front burner.. as no one is going to supercharger their brand new 2010 camaro when the auto industry is hurting as bad as it is.. everyone wants a good warranty incase crap happens.. i imagine by this time next year their will be a supercharger kit for the v6 camaro
their are 3 or 4 supercharger kits for the v8 camaro though.. pretty much if you can afford a v8 camaro.. you can afford the supercharger kit as well..

Well wouldn’t the SS be a bigger LS engine than the Z28? I know the older Z28 and SS were pretty much the same engine but the SS had a few extra mods
A: You can order as LS, LT, or SS package the SS has an option for an RS package that changes the tires headlights and taillights. Just a note the first 60 days of production they will not produce any SS cars. After the 60 they will start to make the SS models at which only 20% of total production will be SS models. I have not heard of a Z28 option at this time.
