Q: 1968 Camaro for sale – what is it worth? What is the best way to sell it?
I have owned it for 20 years – great little car. 250, 3 speed, body and interior in really good condition. I have no idea what it is worth, but I am tired of starting and washing it all the time. I live in Wichita, KS – should I advertise it locally or put it on eBay or someplace like that? What is a good price to ask for it?
Loonatic – I don’t know what I want for it, that was my question. I can e-mail you pictures if you would like. Send me your e-mail address.
A: Try this site and click on the classic tab.

Q: how do i find a 1968 camaro body for sale?
A: Check local junk yards before you look on ebay, craigslist and all those other sites. If you find one there It will be alot cheaper
Q: i’m looking for classic cars for sale, in particular a 1968 Camaro Z28?
Local to cecil county, maryland. I’m looking for a restored 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, 5-speed on the floor for sale. Or for that matter any classic chevrolet “muscle” cars for sale.
A: You said Chevy and muscle car in the same sentence.I don’t see the connection.
Q: does anybody out there have or know someone who has a 1968 or 69 camaro for sale or trade for $12,000race eng.
the engine is new, still on the engine stand. It was dyno. at 560 horsepower plus. I have all recipts and engine spec. sheets.
A: You can buy a GM Big Block crate motor for about $7500 for the hottest one. Just check www.mrgoodwrench.comPeople just don’t trust an engine on a stand with fresh paint on it
Q: Should i take a chance at this 68′ camaro?
Hi to all…I just found a 1968 camaro for sale for about $3000…but here comes the problems…the car doesnt have engine or tranny. The interior needs alot of work and the whole car has rust and needs some work. Pretty much i would get only the chassis and body. And to all, the “owner” doesnt have the title and the car hasnt being registered for a long time.
Now, i love camaros…specially the 68-69 camaros. I always try to look for one around my budget but never find any since i am a student at a university. Still, i am planing on doing the fixing and the body work myself and even the engine work with a friend.
Is this car worth it?….If i plan to get it i know it would take me hella long time to restore it but is one of my dream to own a camaro….Finally, how much trouble would i be dealing with registration since the current owner doesnt have the title?
I live in Cali. and i find this cars which cost a lot of money for me…should i take a chance on this one??
Thanks 2 all..
A: The only way I would even consider 3000 for a 68 in the condition you describe is if it has something that makes it exceptional (like a Z28 or COPO package, or something equally rare). If its a basic run of the mill Camaro, you can find a clean one for that kind of money.
Q: How many 1968 Camaro RS SS Convertibles made?
I can only find about 3 real 1968 rs ss convertibles on the Internet for sale. Mine is Matador Red with black interior and white top. It was made white with blue interior and a white top. It came with a 350 in it, it now has a 327(I am going to change the intake to make look authentic). Car is near perfect, I payed $35,000. Ones I have seen have been 45-50gs in simular condidtion. What do you think?
the 350 v8 was a first year option in 1968 on the camaro
pace car in 67 and 69 there wasnt a 68 pace car.
A: No one is able to say how many Camaros were produced exactly like yours or even close to yours. To my knowledge it is impossible to accurately determine, for example, how many black ‘68 RS/Z28 Camaros were produced. It just gets worse to determine with the more options that are added. The problem is GM did not track production numbers on combinations of options. There were only 16,927 convertibles in ‘68, so the production numbers will be low on an RS/SS ‘vert but impossible to determine exactly.
Q: What is a 1974 Chevy Blazer worth?
I have a 1974 Chevy Blazer with a fully removable top, none of the cheap ass half removable top bullshit that chevy pulled after 1974. It has all of the original 4 wheel drive parts and the original transfer case. The only thing done to it was it was given manual locking hubs so that you can make it a part time four wheel drive and drive it on the street without chewing up the front drive line. It still works the way it did when it was shipped from the factory. This truck has an all original matching parts and serial numbers 1968 Camaro Engine in it with a four bolt main and the original heads. This truck is not for sale, I am just wondering what it is worth. Ive been told by a handful of die-hard chevy collectors that it is worth at least $20,000 in the condition that its in. I am just wondering if this is true. (It needs body work and a paint job, other than that its perfect.)
A: I very seriously doubt that it is. To be worth anywhere near that kind of money it would have to be a low low mileage original motor with original paint etc with no damage. Just as it came from the factory. People have been watching to much Barrett Jackson. and think all old vehicles are worth a lot. It just aint true.
Q: which of these cars is the best deal for the money?

A: i would go for the camaro because not only is it a sick car, but it has more potential value. Camaros are probly going to get more and more popular and more people are going to want the old ones. buy it and when you go to sell it later you are probly going to get more for it then you would get for any other of those cars you listed above.
